Setit Puella [OPEN]
Oct. 13th, 2014 08:59 pmYou need to wake up.
Do not wake the dreamer.
For your own good, you need to wake up.
For the sake of the vision, You must See.
Peace felt herself startle out of her seat in her little office and lifted her head up off the desk. She'd been sleeping a lot lately. Though the man in her dreams no longer seemed to be a problem, his absence had left whispers (or maybe that was the accidental Draug touch, she wasn't sure now).
"What time is it?" she mumbled and pushed her glasses back into place to take a look at the wall clock. 12:13. AM? PM? She didn't know, and the clock wasn't telling her crap. Peace's office was decorated minimally. Perfect for someone who was - nine times out of ten - in her Handler's office, sleeping on his couch.
She picked up a pen and scribbled down the last thing she remembered, then stumbled towards Miklos's office. Her uniform was slightly more rumpled then usual thanks to her napping, but at least she wasn't late.
Or maybe she was twelve hours late.
Ugh.

Date: 2014-10-15 05:41 am (UTC)He listened to everything Donat had to report, movement on the tablet's screen indicating that he was likely updating a file somewhere.
"That sounds like a lot of 'I can'ts' but you've been doing this long enough by now that I shouldn't have to tell you what to do about that. The update is, of course, appreciated so we didn't wonder if you'd disappeared into the void. If you eventually come across any intel that anyone might be able to actually plug into a search then I'll be sure to update you with any leads.."
Miklos looked past him a moment at Apollo but decided not to use the command that would have brought the dog to his side. It was more amusing letting the animal seek attention from Peace, which had advanced to half-laying on her. The dog wasn't technically allowed on the couch and was cheating by the fact that his hind end remained on the floor while his front end was resting on the girl.

Considering the town's under attack from ancient Norse sea monsters and that thing was calling them like the damned Pied Piper, I'd think maybe he was talking about Brisingamen? Perhaps." A few taps on his phone and another Despicable Me video started playing. "Templar was an American woman. Didn't get a good look at her, but she didn't seem like she was having much trouble against the undead. Probably Bee-approved."

Date: 2014-10-15 12:41 pm (UTC)Somewhere in the in-between the voices, and the dream, came again. She was quiet; the background noise of Donat and Miklos speaking (sniping) at each other a grounding lullaby.
She murmured in her sleep, the tactical piece forever on her ear recording her words for later.

Date: 2014-10-15 03:44 pm (UTC)He took a sip of his coffee, deciding to refrain from going on though he could have. Ideally Donat would finally get things into his head. His patience ran more thin when it came to the man, seeing as he expected better given his advanced age and experience. The little things he could forgive in the 20-somethings grated on his nerves when they were coming from Donat. Unfair? Perhaps. But he was the thirteenth handler according to the file and was already geared up for a challenge.
He looked over to Peace and the dog that was still half-laying on her. "She has no respect for the rules.."
